And not being in the medical profession myself I really don't care if the procedures are not completely by the book and if all the jargon is not used in proper context. It's entertaining. And who cares if Derek would have better things to do if he was a real doctor? How would they ever get any story across if everyone was always busy and never around? I could see the next review being on LOST and how Desmond being able to tell the future, Locke being able to walk, and many of the other enjoyable quirks of the show being under attack for having "no basis in reality". It's television. Criticize something other than creative writing. I loved the episode. I love this whole show.
